Job Description: 

The Supply Chain Training Advocate/Manager will develop training schedules for RTSC SCM Buyers and Subcontract Administrators; Deploy and conduct training curriculum; Grade examinations and track employee status; Develop and maintain training materials electronically and on the intranet; Coordinate with sites on specific training requirements with respect to internal surveillance findings; Conduct training workshops; Interface with RTN SCM Competency Assessment Team; Assist in the deployment and training of the assessment tool.  Deploy all SCM Competency models as required; Act as the administrator for the RTN SCM Tool - maintaining and controlling users/roles within the assessment tool; Maintain employee status on all training requirements within SCM; Develop and provide performance metrics, Represent RTSC on the RTN Supply Chain Learning Council – providing input and feedback to council, attending various meetings, interface for SCLDP program, assist in execut! ing the RTN SC Learning Strategic Plan; Act as the SAP Training interface with the SAP Competency Center; Participate in various RTN SCM IPT training initiatives as the RTSC Representatives; Other duties as assigned.

The position reports to the Senior Manager Supply Chain Governance.

Required Skills:

• 6 or more years of SCM experience in a government regulated environment with 3 of those years experience in training/competency field.
• Knowledge of FAR and DFAR
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to act independently.
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience designing and developing training materials
• Experience leading & facilitating workshops
• Proficient computer related skills. MS Office
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of CPSR

Familiar with SAP

Required Education (including Major):

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field.   Will consider 14 years related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Professional certifications would be a plus.

Other Requirements (Clearance, travel):

• The ability to travel domestic and internationally is required.
