Assessment Matrix Lean
101 & Supplier Lean Assessment is a training class designed to provide a
high level understanding of Lean concepts which will help Supply Chain
professionals conduct Lean assessments of their suppliers. This training
program is highly effective and currently being utilized by Cessna. The Lean
assessment identifies the key lean concepts to look for within a supplier’s
facility.

John Mavec is a business
process improvement professional with 27 years of experience in
manufacturing, assembly, industrial and manufacturing engineering, customer
support, and supply management at Cessna Aircraft Company. He has recently
been involved in the design and rollout of the (SVIP), Supplier Development,
and Total Value of Acquisition (TVA) processes. Mr. Mavec holds degrees in
Total Quality Management and Business Management, is a Certified Lean
Facilitator, a Textron Six Sigma Certified Black Belt and an APICS Certified
Supply Chain Professional.

Directions:
Access the LOWER LEVEL of the
complex at the Papa John’s entrance. Park in the Garvey Center Garage –
From Kellogg (Hwy 54) take
the “Central Business District” exit on to Main Street and drive north into
downtown Wichita. Proceed to Douglass Avenue. Go west on Douglass Avenue
one and a half blocks, past the 200 O.W. Garvey building to Clinger Drive.
Watch for the Papa John’s
Street sign and turn right on Clinger drive. Proceed to the Parking Garage
that is located on the west side of the street.
After parking walk across the
street and walk down the steps at Papa John’s into the fountain area.
Access the lower level of the Garvey Building through the glass doors where
you will be greeted and given directions to the FORUM BALL ROOM for the
APICS Professional Dinner Meeting. |
